Meet the Women’s Network Canada Coordinators

The Women’s Network Canada Region covers all Canadian providences.

Lily Olson serves as the Western Region Director for UFCW Canada, where she works closely with UFCW Local Unions across Western Canada to organize, facilitate, negotiate, service, and support members and local leadership. With a strong commitment to advancing workers’ rights and strengthening the labor movement, Lily has dedicated her career to advocating for fairness, equity, and opportunity for working people.

In addition to her regional leadership role, Lily serves as Chair of the UFCW Canada National Council Women and Gender Equity Committee. Through this work, she helps create inclusive spaces that empower women and gender-diverse members within the union movement while promoting leadership development, advocacy, and meaningful representation.

Lily is also deeply passionate about politics and civic engagement. Over the years, she has been actively involved in numerous election campaigns, contributing in a variety of capacities ranging from canvassing and volunteer coordination to campaign management and strategic support. Her political involvement reflects her belief that collective action and public engagement are essential tools for creating positive change in communities and workplaces alike.

Through her leadership, activism, and dedication to equity, Lily continues to be a respected voice and champion within UFCW Canada and the broader labor movement.
