Meet the Region 2 Coordinators
The Women’s Network Region 2 Team covers Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Marissa Farina
Marissa Farina is a dedicated labor professional and proud member of UFCW Local 1776, Region 2, with more than 13 years of service to the union and its members. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting workers, strengthening union operations, and advancing member engagement.
Marissa began her journey with UFCW Local 1776 in the Membership Services Department, where she developed a solid foundation in member support, administration, and union operations. Her dedication, professionalism, and leadership abilities led to her advancement into the President’s Office, where she served as Administrative Assistant and now holds the role of Executive Assistant to the President.
In addition to supporting the President’s Office, Marissa oversees Human Resources functions for the local, helping to manage employee relations, workplace initiatives, and organizational operations. She also serves as a Trustee on the 1776 Tri-State Pension Fund, contributing to the stewardship and oversight of retirement benefits that support union members and their families.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Marissa is actively involved in her Local’s Women’s Network chapter, where she helps organize events, foster member engagement, and create opportunities that empower women throughout the labor movement. A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she brings creativity, innovation, and a collaborative spirit to her work and is honored to serve as a Region 2 Coordinator.
Datrina Davis
Datrina Davis is a dedicated labor leader and advocate with more than 10 years of service as a member of UFCW Local 1994. Throughout her union career, she has consistently stood up for her colleagues, working to enact meaningful change within her agency and ensure that employees have a strong voice in the workplace. Her commitment to fairness, accountability, and worker representation has earned her the respect of both her peers and fellow union members.
As Lead Shop Steward and Vice President of the UFCW Local 1994 Executive Board, Datrina plays a key role in advancing the interests of union members. She serves on the bargaining team, where she has successfully negotiated full collective bargaining agreements and wage reopeners against a challenging management team. Her experience, strategic thinking, and unwavering determination have helped secure important gains and protections for workers. In addition, she has contributed to the union’s endorsement committee, helping to support leaders and initiatives that align with the values and priorities of working families.
Known for her strong leadership, relatability, and tireless advocacy, Datrina is a respected force within both her workplace and her union. She is passionate about mentoring others and empowering colleagues to become effective advocates for themselves and their communities. Through her guidance and example, she continues to develop future leaders and strengthen worker engagement throughout the county.
